www.citycyclecentre.com
|
|
City Cycle Centre is a family-run department store in Ely, Cambridgeshire, selling a huge range of cycles, toys, models, craft and DIY products. The shop never had a website other than a simple holding page, and the owners were keen to market the store online more effectively.
The business had no branding either, so Green Jersey designed a new logo and branding material for the shop too before designing the new website.
We also arranged for some excellent photography from Mack & Me which we used to illustrate the site and in several photo galleries. Green Jersey also wrote or edited the content for the whole site.
The site uses a Content Management System (CMS) to allow City Cycle Centre staff to add their news, product information, special offers, and any other content they wish.

www.actinic.co.uk
|
|
Green Jersey very often uses Actinic e-commerce software to build online shops for retailers, and has been a leading Actinic design partner for several years. We've worked closely with Actinic on several joint projects, so we were delighted to be able to design & build Actinic's own new corporate website.
Actinic's previous website used static HTML and had grown very large over many years as the business developed. We replaced it with a dynamic, database-driven site using a powerful Content Management System (CMS) to allow Actinic complete control over their website's information.
We created a completely new design to modernise and showcase Actinic's brand. The site's content was completely restructured, with a clear focus on Actinic's four main product families.
The site has many customised features developed to present Actinic's products, services & partners to its customers. The new website is a key sales tool and an important component of Actinic's customer service & support.

www.camgrain.co.uk
|
|
Camgrain is the UK's largest farmer-owned grain storage business, collecting grain from all over East Anglia. It supplies the UK's largest bakers, millers and food-production businesses.
Green Jersey created a new dynamic website with a Content Management System (CMS) to replace Camgrain's old static HTML website.
We produced a completely new design and structure, to appeal to Camgrain's three stakeholder groups: member farms; potential members; and food industry representatives. The private area for members allows effective communication within Camgrain, and it replaces email and paper-based communication.

- powerful content management
- photo galleries

Green Jersey sponsors BMC UK Racing Team, and has built a comprehensive website for the team and its supporters.
The website is the mainstay of the squad's communications with fans & the media. When we planned it, our target was to surpass the best European and US racing team websites.
We had four priorities for the new site:-
- make it visually exciting
- pack it with detailed information about the team
- give fans ways to interact with the team
- allow team members to easily manage the site's content
Features include:-
- integrated blog
- live Twitter feed
- integrated message board
- photo galleries
- dynamic event calendar
- press release downloads
- competitions
The team has since evolved into "Orbea - For Goodness Shakes!" for 2010, and we have built an all-new site for it - www.orbea-forgoodnessshakes.com.

www.transportheritage.com
|
|
The Transport Trust asked us to create a comprehensive online, public database to commemorate Britain’s rich legacy in the development of transport.
The new "Transport Heritage" website has a vast amount of information about hundreds of historically significant locations within the UK. Each location within the database also has an aerial view, a photo gallery, and live weather information.
There are integrated Google Maps for all the regions and counties within the country, a message board, calendar and lots more. It's all integrated with the site's powerful CMS (Content Management System), so officials all over the country can directly add information to the database.
Visually, the new site is designed to particularly appeal to young people, so that history and engineering are not perceived as stuffy subject matter.
The next phase of the project will be to add a directory of important constructors, inventors and engineers.

Downs Syndrome Association |
|
www.downs-syndrome.org.uk
|
|
Green Jersey's site for the Downs Syndrome Association is one of our most extensive and comprehensive websites.
Our brief was to produce a contemporary design which would convey that DSA is a modern, forward-thinking charity, and to make DSA's vast range of information resources much more easily available.
The new site is particularly accessible, including an effective "talking text" facility to help users who find reading difficult.
DSA's new website is packed with advanced features. It is a dynamic, database-driven site with a powerful CMS (Content Management System) to allow DSA's administrators to easily add content and manage the site.
There is also a comprehensive online shop, tightly integrated into the CMS.
Green Jersey & DSA immediately formed a strong partnership, and our team particularly enjoyed this project. Our next project with DSA will be to add online event booking to the site.
