British Film Institute e-commerce website launched
Thursday, 20 September 2007

The British Film Institute asked Green Jersey to design and build its new e-commerce website using Actinic software to sell film-related books, DVDs and gifts. We're proud to announce that the site, BFI's first e-commerce initiative, has just gone live.

British Film Institute The website is integrated with the BFI shop's own EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) system which feeds the website with its product information. The design brief required us to create a distinct shopping site with its own style, but which integrates smoothly with BFI's well-established brand and its other websites. In the course of building the site we developed several new Actinic techniques specifically to meet the BFI's functionality requirements.

Green Jersey was delighted to produce the new website, and our team has established a particularly close partnership with the BFI during the project.
