New Actinic checkout progress indicator
Tuesday, 10 April 2007

Green Jersey has developed a checkout progress indicator for its Actinic e-commerce websites.

Actinic's software currently lacks a standard progress bar to show online shoppers how many steps there are in the whole checkout process, and where they are in the process at any time. The largest e-commerce stores such as Amazon, Tesco and Marks and Spencer have these, and we felt that our Actinic websites should have a similar facility too.

Our first implementation of the checkout progress indicator is within our Citrus Beachwear website, and we expect to implement it into all our future Actinic websites too. We're also retro-fitting it to several other websites in our portfolio.
