Clothing label Plain Lazy is one of our longest-serving clients, and we've just built a new site to sell their new range of artwork: "The Art of Doing Nothing". We needed to move fast, and the new site was designed, built and launched within two weeks.

The new site takes a very interesting approach to pricing - for example, thirty identical canvases will go on sale at the same moment on Friday 24th April. The vigilant first buyer will get a bargain at £10, the next will pay £20, the next £30, and so on. Three different designs will be sold in this way, and ninety other canvases will be sold at a fixed price of £60.

It will be fascinating to see how many customers will be watching for the moment that the canvases go on sale, and whether there will be a rush to buy. It's a little tricky to predict the traffic peaks and the server load, but we think we've sized everything correctly.
